THE ROLE

The CCD Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all credit and collection efforts for the assigned region(s) and/or customers, which includes determining the credit worthiness of customers while minimizing the company’s financial exposure and losses. The Supervisor will be required to work closely with the customer and all pertinent JELD-WEN groups and provide regular reporting. The Supervisor will report to a CCD Manager or to the Director of Credit – North America depending on assignment and will have one or more direct reports.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Comply with company Credit & Collections Policy & Procedures
  • Manage and maintain customer data management, regional assignment
  • Manage and maintain customer credit & collection files, regional assignment
  • Assist with financial reviews to determine the credit worthiness and viability of the customer’s assigned
  • A/R reporting/stats: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually
  • Supervise credit and collection personnel (approx. 1-4)
  • Assist CCD Manager to secure company exposure via all forms of security: Liens, Bonds, Guarantees & PMSI/PMSA and LCs, etc.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relations with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Assist with Bankruptcies, Foreclosures, Receiverships and Collection Litigation matters
  • Provide quarterly and annual staff Performance Evaluations
  • Assist with ERP (or other application) projects, implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Great Customer Service skills are a must
  • Must be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and handle high volume in fast paced environment
  • General knowledge and/or experience in Credit & Collection Law: Contracts, Bonds, Liens, PMSI and Bankruptcy
  • Credit & Collection Legal experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Big Box retail collection experience
  • Builder/Construction collection experience

Education and Experience

  • Must have at min. 5 years of Credit and/or Collection experience
  • Associate’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent on the job training
  • Professional Credit & Collection designation
  • Leadership & Management experience
  • Bilingual: Plus (*a requirement for some regions)
  • Advanced Excel and/or SAP (or other ERP systems)

Expected pay for this role is between $69,900.00 to $116,400.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
