Clinician - TAY
CRF Behavioral Healthcare
Hours: 40 hours per week. Clinic hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday.
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
Education: Master's degree in a mental health related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: License-eligible or registered in California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required

As a Clinician I - TAY, you will:
- Primarily provide services for clients to the transitioned aged youth population (18 to 24 years old).
- Conduct initial behavioral health assessments for clients, utilizing a psychosocial rehabilitation focus and dynamic team-based approach.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
- Develop and update individual treatment service plans for clients.
- Create discharge plans and provide linkage to other support services within the community.
- Coordinate outreach for TAY clients and TAY specific providers in the community.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with a transitional aged youth mental health population, especially individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders strongly preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

South Bay Guidance Center is one of our Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) which provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support, and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.
All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
