Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections of products and material per the required procedures, processes and specifications, including but not limited to customer specific requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of fasteners to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and gages
  • Identify and document any non-conformities or defects
  • Record and analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales and Supplier to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards and regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
  • Maintain files according to policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify and propose process improvements to create efficiencies where possible

Must Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clear focus on all priorities.
  • Good understanding of quality control standards and practices
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

We Value:

  • Previous experience in quality inspection or quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proven ability and experience working with data and having a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient communication skills both written and verbal.
