Position Description

You will serve as an AEROSPACE ENGINEER (PROPULSION) in the FLEET SUPPORT TEAM(FST) DEPARTMENT, FST ENGINEERING DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST (CECIL FIELD).

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will correlate aerospace propulsion engineering theories and practices with DOD or DON policies and procedures in order to plan and execute projects.
  • You will present ideas both orally and in writing and negotiate with program managers.
  • You will gather, assimilate, and organize critical elements of technically complex information from diverse sources.
  • You will balance immediate and long-range objectives of aircraft programs.
  • You will manage the diverse requirements of a complex propulsion engineering project while considering customer support needs and negotiating with various sponsors for available resources.
