Key responsibilities
Logistics Management:
- Oversee the entire logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, IATA standards, and guidelines for handling dangerous goods.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and track deliveries.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics policies and procedures to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
- Filing and maintaining of shipping records, CI/PLs, BOLs, PODs.
Inventory Control:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Implement inventory control systems to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Maintaining and organizing warehouse space for efficiency and safety (OSHA).
- Communicate with HQ about stock levels.
Shipping and Receiving:
- Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping of sales orders.
- Supervise the shipping and receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Handle the classification and packaging of dangerous goods in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Address any shipping or receiving issues promptly and effectively.
Inside Sales Support:
- Generate sales quotes for inventory items and respond to customer inquiries.
- Assist the sales team with order processing and customer relationship management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory items and their specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and achieve company goals.
- Prepare operational reports and efficient schedules for management.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve logistics and inventory processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- In-depth knowledge of federal regulations, IATA standards, and dangerous goods handling.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Language: English (required), additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch) are an asset.

Working conditions
Logistics Manager must be available and on-site during regular business hours and, if required, to work past regular business hours (regular business hours Mon-Fri, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm) as shipping/receiving demands. Capable of managing warehouse operations and the lifting of objects >50 lbs is preferred in a team-driven, collaborative growth environment.
