We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. If you are self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, enjoy a challenge and seek satisfaction knowing your efforts are making a difference, this opportunity is for you!

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide hands-on advisory services, requiring working knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines. This position proactively anticipates HR-related needs and is proactive in communicating business objectives.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and identify best practices.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and EEOC laws to assist in navigating client needs.
  • Conducts regular reviews to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting is in compliance. Support the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
  • Research and analyze data, processes pertaining to HR practices and processes. Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Serve as a resource to internal teams and external clients, providing them with timely and informative metrics, current hiring and management approaches, making recommendations to meet compliance goals and minimize risk.
  • Help prepare, review, and analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend actions and solutions to across HR functions.
  • Provide guidance on a variety of HR issues and leverage HR subject matter expertise to resolve those issues.
  • Provide professional services to multiple clients across varying industries.
  • May develop, implement and deliver training on a variety of HR topics as needed.
  • Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • BS in Business Administration, HR or related field
  • Familiarity with employee benefits terminology – FSA, HSA, STD, LTD, etc.
  • 3 – 5 years HR experience with full breadth of generalist experience (in depth knowledge of employee benefits) and a working knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, FLSA, ADA, USERRA, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse client population, both internal and external, to relay accurate, appropriate and timely information
  • Analytical thinker who can design and assess effective processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
