Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary:
ArchWell Health is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team. The Payroll Coordinator will play a key role in assisting Payroll leadership in payroll processing to support our national workforce. This role will serve as a liaison and resource to our colleagues while supporting the Payroll and HR leadership.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as a main representative and a colleague-facing contact of Payroll
- Document, setup, and maintain Payroll workflows to establish and ensure top-level colleague support
- Partner with payroll leadership to administer payroll tax returns
- Carry out key administrative functions for Payroll processes and colleague data, both recurring and as needed
- Assist with verifying timesheets, managing payroll taxes and maintaining confidentiality of employee data
- Other duties and special projects as needed, focusing on knowledge and skills development
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Systems thinker adept at understanding and documenting processes
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to deploy them in a colleague-centered workplace
- Strong understanding of payroll, practices, and procedures
- Working knowledge of payroll tax
- Curious, unafraid to ask questions, and value growth in your career
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-driven environment where process suggestions are encouraged and necessary
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working within a HRIS or Payroll system, Dayforce experience is a plus
- Proactive, and willing to aid in additional tasks toward goal completion
- Flexibility to work overtime or extended hours to meet business needs
- Comfortable with autonomy
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience
- Two (2) years of related experience preferred; minimum of one year required
