What are we looking for in a Cost Reporting/Financial Analyst?

The Cost Reporting/Financial Analyst at Comprehensive will provide support to the organization through development of the annual fiscal cost report. Development of the cost reporting and monitoring procedures, routinely reporting on compliance issues, PPS payment monitoring to ensure costs are covered by payments. Supports program leadership by providing budget development, financial analysis, financial statement and payer audit coordination, monitors grants and contracts for compliance. This position requires close attention to detail, strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate complicated financial information clearly and concisely.

Cost Reporting/Financial Analyst Duties May Include

  • Responsible for coordination and development of the fiscal year agency cost report with program level detail necessary to maintain compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Development of detailed cost reporting process that includes identification of necessary key performance indicators for development and maintenance of perspective payment system - PPS model.
  • Coordination of year end fiscal audit information and routine payer audit information by collecting and reviewing relevant information throughout the year.
  • Oversight of grant and contract monitoring for compliance for maintaining program within the contracted budget.
  • Development and review of budget grant and program budgets, managing the RFP or renewal process as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Six years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
