POSITION SUMMARY

The Bat Person position is primarily responsible for equipment assistance during the game. This role reports directly to the Visiting Clubhouse Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Clean shoes
• Retrieve bats in game
• Rub dirt on baseballs
• Retrieve baseballs from umpire
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Team player
• Reliable and hard working
• Knowledge of baseball
• Must be 16 years or older
• Completion of a satisfactory background check

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in an outdoor setting
• No travel required
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand for three hours at a time and use stairs
