Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 (+$2 shift differential)
Available Shifts (Monday-Thursday)
Swing Shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am
Location: 340 40th St N, Fargo, ND 58102
Introduction
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us with our daily shrink-wrapping needs. In this role, you will be responsible for properly and securely shrink wrapping our products to ensure they are ready to be shipped out to our customers. You will need to be comfortable using a shrink wrap machine, as well as have a keen eye for detail to ensure all products are properly and securely shrink wrapped. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us to ensure our products are delivered to our customers in perfect condition.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor shrink-wrap machine (arpac wrapper) operation to detect jams or malfunctions.
- Adjust machine components and machine tension to ensure correct wrapping.
- Prepare and package products for shipment by printing labels and applying them to the proper pallets as well as any necessary paperwork for each product.
- Monitor inventory levels of shrink-wrap materials and report shortages to shift supervisor.
- Ensure product safety and quality control standards are met.
- Record and maintain production and inventory records.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Other Shrink Wrapper responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Organized and precise.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to manage and control plant inventory.
- Able to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control per processing standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to lift to 50 lbs. as needed.
