Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic’s Agile Scrum Leader will work in the Center for Digital Health, with the purpose of extending our agile expertise and helping deliver digital solutions and products to consumers, patients, and providers to improve their health journey. The Scrum Leader will operate within an Agile Development environment, managing various ceremonies such as Scrum, and ensuring that team members fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
- Guides and coaches, the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- Collaborates with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, and Experience Design partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with product leaders to define and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic goals.
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and competing priorities to build and prioritize a cohesive product backlog.
- Elevates the team to a high-performing level by identifying strengths and areas for improvement and employing effective coaching and development techniques.
- Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
- Works with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support the product teams.
- Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Leaders to grow within the role.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and 4+ years relevant experience required.
- Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of Scrum and understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, collaboration skills and cultural awareness
- Experience navigating transformation in highly regulated industries is a plus.

$88,774.40 - $124,300.80/ year; This position has a predetermined rate of $xx.xx per hour.; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
