What You’ll Do:
Keep the Wheels Turning: Perform daily repair and maintenance on ice machines, restaurant equipment, and property within our locations to ensure everything is working at full capacity.
Preventive Maintenance Pro: Take charge of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and keep our operations on track with timely and accurate upkeep.
Emergency Repairs & Cosmetic Fixes: Be the go-to expert for emergency repairs, from HVAC and refrigeration issues to plumbing and electrical repairs.
Special Project Support: Help install new equipment for special projects, ensuring everything’s set up correctly and efficiently.
Manage External Contractors: Oversee and coordinate outside contractors, ensuring smooth communication and quality work.
Detailed Paperwork: Handle all administrative duties related to maintenance, including invoices, maintenance logs, purchase orders, and reports. You’ll keep everything organized and up to date!
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of store-level equipment and spare parts inventory—tracking everything from models to serial numbers.
Budget Recommendations: Contribute insights to capital budget decisions for equipment and building repairs.
Warranty Protection: Stay ahead of unnecessary repair costs by keeping track of service and warranty records to avoid violations.
Other Duties as Needed: Be flexible and ready to assist with any other maintenance-related tasks that may arise.
Stay Mobile: Maintain a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record for travel between locations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical Know-How: You’ll need a solid foundation in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical repair, and plumbing. If you’re comfortable troubleshooting various equipment, reading electrical schematics, and working with 3-phase electrical systems, you’ll be a great fit.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and general repair/maintenance work is required. Experience with electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment is a must.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Technical certification is a plus. Legal licensing may be required in some locations.
- Availability: Flexibility is key—this role requires irregular hours, rotating weekends, on-call availability, and occasional overtime. You’ll need to be ready to handle unexpected situations—whether it's a broken freezer or an emergency plumbing issue!
