As the General Manager, you will lead all operational aspects of the business, manage a dedicated team of 17 staff members, and be directly responsible for driving growth and profitability. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage the core business unit
• Build, develop, and coach a high-performing team
• Drive business growth and manage key performance metrics
• Optimize systems and processes to improve efficiency
• Create and manage the business unit's budget and profitability
• Develop and maintain relationships with service buyers and key clients
• Provide strategic insights to identify business strengths and areas for improvement
• Keep ownership informed of business performance and opportunities
• Instill and uphold core company values throughout the organization
• Mentor and coach other leaders within the business
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of management experience in a service-based business (trade services or B2B experience preferred)
• Proven success in managing teams and business operations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively
• Must be open, willing, and enjoy learning new thingssystems, processes, technology, etc.
• Excellent coaching and teaching skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable taking direction and executing the vision of the female company owner
• Respectful to women (we are a woman-owned business with a female office staff)
• Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience in transportation-based operations is a plus
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business metrics and implement data-driven strategies
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working within an industry with a predominantly male workforce
• Excellent at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Strong business acumen with a focus on growth and profitability
  
  

Salary And Benefits

• Full-Time position
• Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
