SEE Eyewear is seeking a bold, visionary, and trend-savvy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and elevate our financial operations. As an integral part of the executive team, the CFO will be instrumental in shaping SEE’s financial future, ensuring both profitability and creativity thrive in harmony.
This role is based onsite 5 days at our headquarters in Southfield, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Craft and execute forward-thinking financial strategies that align with SEE’s mission of blending fashion and function.
- Bring a creative approach to data-driven financial insights, translating numbers into meaningful actions for the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership.
- Lead financial planning and strategic capital allocation to fuel SEE’s growth in the retail fashion space.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for exciting growth opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
- Financial Management:
- Ensure SEE’s financial reports, budgets, and forecasts are as precise as our eyewear designs.
- Maintain full compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance, with a dash of flair.
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to highlight financial opportunities and champion operational improvements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external partners who share our vision.
- Operational Excellence:
- Shape and optimize the company’s financial structure, ensuring cash flow management and investments keep SEE on top.
- Drive enhancements to financial systems, processes, and reporting to keep them as cutting-edge as our eyewear.
- Discover cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality and creativity SEE is known for.
- Risk Management:
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks while fostering innovation.
- Strengthen internal controls to protect SEE’s assets and reputation.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure every move is as precise as a pair of SEE glasses.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Inspire and develop a talented finance and accounting team that shares your passion for creativity and excellence.
- Build a culture of accountability and innovation within the finance department.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure SEE’s financial goals align seamlessly with business strategies.
- Be the voice of SEE’s financial interests with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles, with a track record of success in retail or consumer-focused industries.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to drive growth strategies, manage acquisitions, and secure funding opportunities.
- Exceptional analytical skills paired with the ability to translate numbers into strategic narratives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that bring clarity and energy to complex financial topics.
