Overview

As our Neuro Services Coordinator at CHI St VIncent, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you'll participating in patient care for the Arkansas Neurosciences Institute as an RN. You'll help our doctors and nurses feel better knowing that you are providing accurate and timely information of the patients.

Doctors assisting is Dr. Jaafar Basma.

You'll build trust each day by being extremely thorough and accurate at all times.

Patient safety is your top priority, so you do everything you can to ensure that the appointments are coordinated, procedures are scheduled, assist in the operating room and coordinate various courses.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with preparation of unit schedules.
  • Assists in development and achievement of departmental budgets and goals.
  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care according to established standards, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains ongoing compliance with regulatory standards through patient rounding, EOC (environment of care) rounding, and physician rounding.
  • Participates in educational programs to enhance clinical/management experience.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program college, or university
  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing or compact state
  • 3+ years extensive and recent neurosurgery nursing experience
  • 1 year charge/management experience preferred
