Portfolio Manager to join our team.
This position creates and manages investment portfolios for our clients to ensure achievement of the client’s investment objectives. The person in this position loves to spend time doing fundamental and technical analysis, reporting analyses, and risk management. You enjoy creating client investment packages and have confidence in leading investment reviews. You are also a down to earth person who genuinely enjoys your work and helping colleagues and clients and are looking for a place to work filled with people who enjoy that too.

Portfolio Manager to join our team.
This position creates and manages investment portfolios for our clients to ensure achievement of the client’s investment objectives. What You’ll Do
- Provide portfolio management and oversight services to clients of all ages and stages of wealth. Understand a client’s investment needs and risk tolerance to ensure those are expressed in the design of the portfolio.
- Participate on the Great Diamond Partners Investment Committee.
- Trade in stock and bond portfolios.
- Manage day-to-day portfolio activities of monitoring capital markets, individual securities, evaluation of third-party managers and individual securities, trading and implementation
- Deliver investment advice and strategies based on client needs and risk tolerance. Escalate issues that may jeopardize portfolio success.
- Use metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organizational level.
- Establish and/or enhance and implement common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management, and ensure adherence to company and legal standards.
- Define key performance indicators and create a roadmap of success for firm-wide investing standards.

- Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices.
- Meet with investment analysts and researchers to gain a better understanding of market conditions and domestic and global developments that may impact client account balances or future investments.
- Five years + experience in a leadership role in portfolio management
- 10 years experience in financial planning and investment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business management, finance, accounting or a related field
- Successful completion of examination such as Series 66
- Certification in good standing, such as CFA, CFP, or CAIA.
- Strong working knowledge of investment advisory business and of SEC regulations and requirements, as well as other federal and state regulations.
- Versatility as a thinker and executor with the ability to focus and execute both strategically and tactically
- A natural desire to engage team members to better serve clients, grow assets and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Persistence in solving problems and producing results.
- An ability to recognize and act upon opportunities that will grow existing client relationships and/or new client relationships
- Devotion to client and team service with an ability to interact with everyone in a warm, personalized, confident manner to ensure the firm is doing everything within its control to meet the client needs
