We are seeking a versatile, energetic, team oriented and driven HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and development within a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will help build and expand on Freedom Fighter Culture, interfacing with employees across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional to make a significant impact on our growing organization.
Location:
This role will be a hybrid opportunity - working both in Buhler and Wichita (and remotely) with travel to other work locations as needed.

Partnerships
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
- Collaborate with HR team members and key business stakeholders to implement HR strategies.
- Develops key relationships with employees reaching out for answers to questions.
- Provide insights and recommendations on HR matters to enhance organizational performance and create efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Stays abreast of compliance updates, particularly relevant to those states and locations where employees reside.
- Assists with the management and execution of FMLA, Workers Compensation, ADA and all compliance tracking mechanisms.
- Keep team members informed of changes in labor & compliance requirements and provide guidance on proper policy implementation.
- Assist with the development, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Ownership of the non-exempt recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Partners with department managers on talent needs, process improvements and resource development and onboarding.
- Manages data integrity and assists with data management.
- Assists in implementation and use of technology to increase HR process efficiencies and value creation.
- Assists with open enrollment.
- Provides support for benefits administration and serves as an additional point of contact for general benefits questions.
- Exhibits creativity and critical thinking
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to pivot with priorities
- Must have an eye for process improvements
- Ability to work independently and as an integral part of the team
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- 5+ years experience working in HR
- Experience and understanding of HR Compliance as well as working knowledge of FMLA, Workers Comp, ADA
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a multi-functional HR role
- Experience in HRIS system administration; Paylocity preferred
