Hiring Rate: $18.81/hr

Job Summary: Perform routine maintenance that is essential to the appearance and continuous upkeep of the complex and assigned areas under the direction of facilities management.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, training will be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Job Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Job duties for apartments include:
- Cleaning the bathroom: tub, shower, sink, vanity top, toilet, mirror, floor, baseboards, and emptying trash.
- Cleaning the kitchen: sink, countertop, backsplash, floor, baseboards, top and front of refrigerator, stove, small appliances, and emptying trash.
- Cleaning the living room: dust furniture and vacuum carpet.
- Cleaning the bedroom: mirrors and window sill, dust furniture, vacuum carpet
Job duties in common areas include:
- Cleaning Health & Wellness every morning: CU Clinic spaces, men’s and women’s restrooms, gym area, offices, small kitchen, and activity spaces
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wiping down miscellaneous items, using a floor scrubber (we can train), window cleaning, emptying trash, etc.
Education and/or Experience: Must demonstrate an ability to be trained for the job. 1-year of job experience or the equivalent of experience plus training.
Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences with assistance or interpreters.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
We require employees to be Influenza vaccinated during flu season with certain limited exception.
