Labor & Employment Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an ambitious boutique firm in Glendale California. We seek a dynamic and motivated Employment Attorney to join our team. Our firm is dedicated to creating a collaborative and supportive environment where attorneys can thrive. Our vision is to build a practice where every attorney is supported by a full team (POD) consisting of a law clerk, paralegal, and legal assistant. We believe this structure not only enhances efficiency but also fosters a culture of teamwork and excellence.

We understand that complex cases require a collaborative approach, which is why we emphasize teamwork across all levels—ensuring no one feels isolated. Senior leadership and support staff work hand-in-hand to provide the guidance and resources needed to succeed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Will represent clients in employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
• Managing a caseload of 45 - 55 cases on average with the support of a paralegal and legal assistant.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; conduct legal research.
• Advise on employment law compliance and review contracts, policies, and handbooks.
• Handle depositions, mediations, settlements, and administrative proceedings before agencies like the EEOC and DFEH.
• Collaborate on case strategies and stay updated on employment law developments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• An active member of the California State Bar in good standing
• 1 - 4 years of experience practicing employment law (Single Plaintiff & Class Action)
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary: $120,000 - $170,000
• Paid vacation time
