Arborist
Greene Thumb Landscape
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and care for trees, ensuring their health and safety. The Arborist will be responsible for tasks such as pruning, planting, diagnosing tree diseases, and performing tree removals when necessary.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prune and trim trees to promote healthy growth and maintain their shape.
- Diagnose and treat tree diseases, pests, and other health issues.
- Plant new trees and ensure their proper establishment and growth.
- Perform tree removals and stump grinding when necessary.
- Operate and maintain arborist equipment and tools.
- Conduct tree risk assessments and provide recommendations for tree care.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
- Maintain accurate records of tree care activities and treatments.
- Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Arborist or in a related field is preferred.
- Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong knowledge of tree biology, diseases, pests, and proper tree care techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain arborist equipment and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Reporting Structure:
