Job Overview:

The Automotive Dealer Liaison will play a key role in advancing sustainability within a major automotive OEM’s dealership network by driving dealer engagement, fostering participation in a Net Zero Program, and leveraging VECKTA's SaaS platform to implement and monitor energy efficiency initiatives. This individual will serve as a central link between the OEM, dealers, and preferred vendors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve carbon reduction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Dealer Engagement

  • Develop and implement strategies to onboard automotive dealers into the Net Zero Program using VECKTA’s SaaS platform.

  • Drive adoption and maximize retention of participating dealers.

  • Conduct outreach efforts to educate dealers on the program's benefits and requirements.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for the OEM’s dealer outreach efforts.

Dealer Action

  • Ensure identified sustainability initiatives are translated into actionable results by program participants.

  • Act as a liaison between dealers, the OEM, and preferred vendors to facilitate seamless execution.

Platform Expertise

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of VECKTA’s SaaS platform to assist dealers with tracking energy usage and efficiency.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to dealer staff for effective platform utilization.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Collaborate with dealers to track progress toward carbon reduction goals via the VECKTA platform.

  • Generate reports on dealer performance and program milestones, showcasing the impact of initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Represent VECKTA in sustainability meetings, ensuring alignment between the OEM’s goals and dealer efforts.

  • Build strong relationships with various teams to support program objectives.

Sustainability Advocacy

  • Promote dealer participation through case studies, best practices, and presentations tailored to the dealer network.

  • Raise awareness of the Net Zero Program through effective communication and promotional materials.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement

  • Gather and relay feedback from dealers to improve the VECKTA platform and program delivery.

  • Work closely with VECKTA’s product team to align platform features with the OEM’s and dealers' evolving needs.

Travel and Flexibility

  • Operate remotely with flexible hours to accommodate U.S. and EU time zones.

  • Occasional travel, including visiting customers and dealers, as required to support engagement and program execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sustainability, energy efficiency, or related fields.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proficiency in using SaaS platforms for tracking and reporting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships across diverse teams.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to accommodate varying time zones and travel requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive dealership operations or networks.

  • Familiarity with energy efficiency measures and onsite renewable energy projects.

  • Knowledge of carbon reduction strategies and sustainability reporting.

  • Location in Western Europe is preferred.

  • Proficiency in multiple European languages is a plus (English, French, German and/or Italian).
