BerkOne is looking for an individual who has clerical experience and enjoys repetitive work to join our growing team as a Payment Processing Specialist!
What You'll Do
The Payment Processing Specialist will be responsible for serving as the primary expert in our remittance processing department, ensuring accurate job processing and maintaining up-to-date procedures. They will be scanning, verifying, and processing client payments through our systems. As well, they will also support new client implementations, communicate process changes to the department, and train other employees. The ideal applicant for this role will have experience in either accounts payable, banking or processing checks. Proficient data entry skills are required.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Scan, verify, and process client payments through our systems
- Manage daily workflow to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Train staff, assist with new projects, create job procedures, and evaluate hiring needs for department
- Additional duties as assigned
- On-site in our Bethlehem, PA office
- Full-time Regular position!
- Monday – Friday
- 7 am – 3 pm or 8 am - 4 pm
- No weekends!
- Salary: $16.49 - $18.44/hour, commensurate with experience

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic Math knowledge; Addition, Subtraction, Division, Fractions
- Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently
