The Impact You’ll have

As a Senior Front-End Developer at Lanai, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces within our Enterprise SaaS multi-tenant architecture. Your role is crucial for enhancing our capabilities in AI-enabled tools and administration interfaces for managing tenants and their complex governance policies.

What You’ll Do

• Development and Architecture: Engineer and implement maintainable, robust front-end applications that solve enterprise-grade problems while ensuring responsive and delightful user experiences.
• Instrumentation and Monitoring: Use observability tools to provide insightful monitoring and alerting across our applications, helping optimize user experience proactively and drive feature adoption.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Guide and mentor junior developers, take initiative in design and architectural decisions, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that remains open to team input.
• Innovation and Analysis: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies that could enhance our system architectures or development practices.
  
  

What You Bring

• Experience: Proven track record in developing high-performance web applications for enterprise users and administrators within a multi-tenant SaaS architecture. Experience in creating end-user productivity tools is ideal.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in React/NextJS, TypeScript and related toolings.
• Proficiency with asynchronous communication technologies involving REST, GraphQL, WebSockets and/or Server-Sent Events.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with UI frameworks and design systems.
• Additional Skills:Experience contributing to full-stack development and have brought projects from 0 to 1.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead projects independently, excellent problem-solving skills, and aptitude for incorporating feedback constructively.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong interest in analyzing complex systems, with a keen eye for details, improving efficiency and performance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, adept at clearly conveying complex technical ideas.

Working Environment

Lanai is based in Palo Alto and we co-create in our office, together, most of the time. We have a regular in-office cadence for team connection and brainstorming sessions, with the flexibility for remote work the rest of the time. We use the best collaboration tools, schedule regular off-sites, and plan for team bonding experiences.
