Welder/Fabricator – Manufacturing Company in the Yuba-Sutter Area

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a reputable manufacturing company in the Yuba-Sutter area. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, with a focus on water infrastructure products. It is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders who take pride in precision and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate and assemble metal products such as backflow enclosures, fire department connections, and custom fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain welding equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar environment, such as fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial welding.
• Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and practices.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS) is preferred but not required.
  
  

Compensation

• $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
  
  

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (hours may vary depending on workload or company needs).
• Occasional overtime as needed.
