At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will focus on providing strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational business events that may impact an organisation’s value.

The Opportunity

As part of the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services team, you are expected to engage in research, analyze complex transactions, and communicate findings to clients. As an Associate, you are expected to focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You are expected to support senior staff, participate in project tasks, and develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

  • Preferred Cumulative GPA: 3.3
  • Preferred Major GPA: 3.3
  • Before starting with PwC on a permanent basis, associates are required to be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam relevant to their practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states.
