This role offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful renovation projects at VA hospitals in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, contributing to the well-being of our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage renovation projects at VA hospitals, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily operations on-site, including subcontractor management, material delivery, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams and communicate updates with project managers and clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to keep projects moving forward seamlessly.

Position Details:

  • Travel: The role requires travel during the week, typically Monday through Thursday, with weekends spent at home.
  • Locations: Primary project locations are in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably with federal or healthcare renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site during the week.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting requirements is a plus.
