Requirements:

Job Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. The Operations Manager is a member of our Enterprise Services (ES) team. As Operations Manager of ES, you will work directly with ES Business Unit (BU) owners, team leads and team members to improve and oversee the day-to-day operations of the ES Business Unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the business unit runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Project Team Oversight:

  • Track and review utilization and billable targets for project teams/team members.
  • Report biweekly on performance to BU Owners.
  • Identify and address challenges and opportunities for the team.
  • Report all non-standard findings to BU Owners.

Quality Enhancement:

  • Find ways to increase quality and customer value.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Communicate customer issues to the operations team and devise ways to improve the customer experience.

ConnectWise Management:

  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices for tickets, projects, time, and expenses.
  • Manage data collection for updating metrics to achieve productivity targets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance Techneaux tools and systems.
  • Report on staffing levels, billable/utilized hours, and contract labor resourcing.

Financial Oversight:

  • Perform data quality controls and monitor productivity.
  • Conduct time/budget reviews and report variances to BU Owners.

Business Process/Culture:

  • Promote Techneaux culture that encourages high morale, constant feedback, and top performance.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other business units.
  • Collaborate with BU Owners to plan short and long-term BU goals.
  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization.

Team Growth:

  • Recruit, train, assign, schedule, and mentor team members.
  • Assist HR with recruiting efforts when necessary.
  • Drive personal and professional growth within the team.
  • Deliver on team member career development plans and problem resolution.
  • Support team member communication with BU Owners.
  • Analyze and improve space requirements and office layout; implement changes as needed.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Be located in Lafayette, LA
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in operations administration/management or a similar role.
  • Direct experience in a similar industry role for a mid-sized company.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and supervision.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
