Position Summary

Burrow Global, LLC is looking for Mechanical Engineers at Junior, Mid, and Senior levels to join our Beaumont, TX office. These engineers will support the mechanical design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for EPC projects across the Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries. The role involves creating and reviewing mechanical designs, specifications, and documentation for equipment and systems such as piping, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Perform mechanical design and analysis for systems such as HVAC, piping, pressure vessels, and mechanical equipment.
  • Develop detailed mechanical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into overall project plans.
  • Use mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to create and review designs.
  • Lead or support the preparation of procurement and construction documents for mechanical systems.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure mechanical systems are properly installed and functioning according to design.
  • Review vendor submittals and ensure mechanical equipment meets design specifications.
  • Ensure that designs align with client requirements, project goals, and industry standards.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them develop technical expertise.

Education And Qualifications

Junior Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited university preferred).
  • 0-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in EPC projects.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design codes and regulations.

Mid-Level Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited university preferred).
  • 3-7 years of mechanical engineering experience, with exposure to EPC projects.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Ability to manage design tasks and collaborate effectively with project teams.

Senior Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in EPC projects.
  • PE license preferred, but not required.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems design, including HVAC, piping, and equipment selection.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Strong time management and organizational skills.
