Rates Analyst II

Job Summary

Support the goals of the Rate Department through tracking functions, website management, research, updating and documenting complex spreadsheets, and analytics as directed by the Rates Manager or others on the Team. The group works collaboratively with its Utility clients, including Utility Finance and Accounting, Legal, Communications, and others.

Job Responsibilities

• Other rate related tasks as assigned by the Rates Manager
• Prepare survey responses, bill analyses and comparisons of state, regional and national utilities
• Assist in analyzing results and identify areas of opportunities for electric and gas tariffs
• Update Company website as needed for various tariff and other requirements.
• Update certain customer bill charges in the billing system
• Communicate findings to leadership (verbally and/or in writing)
• Preparation of reports or analysis specifically requested by management

Job Specific Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant experience and Bachelor's Degree

• Strong analytical, business and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
