Machine Learning Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking talented graduate students for research internships at Iambic Therapeutics to contribute to the development of flagship technologies, including NeuralPLexer, a protein structure prediction platform, and Enchant, the multi-modal transformer model for drug discovery and clinical development. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning approaches for structural biology and drug development. You will join a collaborative team developing next-generation methods that combine deep learning with physics-based approaches to address the most pressing challenges in real drug discovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop and train deep learning models for protein structure prediction and/or molecular property prediction
• Assist in implementing new model architectures and training strategies
• Contribute to our model evaluation framework
• Participate in team meetings and present findings to the machine learning group
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computational Chemistry, Computational Biophysics, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or related field
• Experience with Python
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred)
• Interest in scientific machine learning applications
  
  

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

• Work with state-of-the-art protein structure and/or molecular property prediction models
• Train models at scale on hundreds of H100 GPUs
• Learn to integrate physical principles into machine learning approaches
• Understand real-world applications in drug discovery
• Collaborate with experts in ML, computational chemistry, software engineering, biology, chemistry, and drug discovery
