Per Company Quality Policy - has the responsibility for ensuring product quality and the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.

Job Purpose
To work with CNC machines to produce precision quality parts and tools from metal using engineering plans
Job Responsibilities
- Operates all tool room equipment – CNC machining centers, surface grinders, wire machines, hole poppers, mills, lathes, drill presses
- Builds and repairs machine shop tools using machining operations and measuring instruments
- Works from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs, and molds
- Programs & uses CNC machine to design, model, and create drawings for parts.
- Reports to Tooling Foreman
Per Company Quality Policy - has the responsibility for ensuring product quality and the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
Job Experience/Education Required
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of formal education/certification in tool & die
- Required to own tools for the job
