Job Description:
Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join an industrial manufacturer specializing in pressure vessels and structural systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing surfaces for painting and coating by effectively operating sandblasting equipment and maintaining high safety standards.

Job Description:
Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join an industrial manufacturer specializing in pressure vessels and structural systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing surfaces for painting and coating by effectively operating sandblasting equipment and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safety checks on sandblasting machinery.
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and equipment as needed.
- Assist with other production tasks as required, including surface preparation for painting.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Previous experience in sandblasting or surface preparation is required.
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to industrial manufacturing.
- Manufacturing painting experience is a plus and may result in higher pay.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $20/hour.
