Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by prospecting, developing a book of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of our product. This role requires a hunter mentality, proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service, responsive communication, creative thinking and a partnership-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales, time management to meet customer expectations, a strong history in closing, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once.

Reports to: Director of Custom Training

Supervises: N/A

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, event participation, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Ability to travel regularly in NY, NJ, PA as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent job experience with a proven record of success
  • 5-7 years sales and/or business development experience with successful growth and meeting or exceeding targets
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Start-up experience is a plus, but not required
