Ticketing Agent Duties And Responsibilities
Issue and confirm flight, train, or event tickets accurately, ensuring all customer information is correct.
Assist customers in making and modifying reservations, including seating preferences and special requests.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering travel-related advice.
Handle payments, refunds, and payment-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, passenger information, and ticketing-related paperwork in accordance with company policies.
Ticketing Agent Requirements And Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Keen eye for accuracy when processing tickets and handling customer information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members.
Comfortable using reservation systems, ticketing software, and basic office applications.
Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as travel schedules demand.
