Position Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of REPOWR’s national supplier and broker accounts, with a focus on trailer listings, reservations, and logistics. This role ensures smooth execution of key operational processes, including on-time pickups, deliveries, and the efficient management of trailer utilization.By building and maintaining strong relationships, you will help customers optimize their use of REPOWR’s marketplace, contributing to their success and the growth of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Trailer Listing and Reservation Management

  • Oversee the management of trailer listings for supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and availability for reservations.
  • Coordinate reservations, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to bookings.
  • Monitor trailer utilization rates, optimizing listings to maximize availability and minimize downtime.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, proactively addressing any disruptions or delays.
  • Work with partners to maintain trailer quality and resolve maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Track and report on operational performance metrics, such as reservation rates and schedule adherence.

Account Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for supplier and brokerage accounts, providing consistent communication and updates.
  • Collaborate with account partners to address challenges and improve operational outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the account experience and strengthen partnerships.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving

  • Partner with sales to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brokers, with the goal of increasing trailer listings from suppliers and project reservations from brokers.
  • Work with internal teams to address operational challenges and streamline processes related to trailer logistics.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams, especially product, on opportunities for improvement in trailer management.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement in trailer usage and logistics.
  • Share regular updates with leadership on account performance, including operational successes and areas for development.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, operations management, or a related role within the transportation, logistics, supply chain, or technology industries.
  • Proven track record of building and managing customer relationships, with demonstrated success in improving customer satisfaction, retention, and operational outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience managing operations such as drop trailer programs or asset management is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with or managing large-scale, national accounts, including brokers and asset carriers, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketplace business models, freight brokerages, or telematics-enabled operations is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in using TMS systems and other relevant software tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
