Who We Are:

The New Orleans JCC is a state-of-the-art fitness center and pool, a leader in New Orleans early childhood education, a fun-filled summer day camp and more. It is a place for adults to take classes and for children and teens to experience learning through enrichment classes, sports leagues, family activities, and summer camps. The JCC is built on Jewish values but is open to everyone.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain and clean the facility's common areas, restrooms, offices, program spaces, and general building grounds.
• Dispose of waste, recycling, and other materials according to relevant policies.
• Vacuum offices, locker rooms, gyms, and classrooms.
• Clean bathroom fixtures.
• Mop and sweep floors in classrooms, offices, locker rooms, and public spaces, and clean glass doors and windows.
• Provide paper products and essentials for restrooms.
• Assist with moving bulky items like furniture and equipment for events.
• Participate in in-service training as a condition of employment.
• Use cleaning supplies to provide a sanitary and pleasant space.
• Work on some national holidays and Jewish holidays specific to the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous Custodian experience preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Work Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday, 3 pm-Midnight
