Overview: The Lexington Legends are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and creative individual to bring our beloved mascot, Mighty Lex, to life! As Mighty Lex, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the fan experience by spreading cheer, engaging with fans of all ages, and representing the Lexington Legends at games and community events. Key Responsibilities:

• Game-Day Performances:
  • Perform as Mighty Lex at all Lexington Legends home games.
  • Interact with fans, participate in on-field promotions, and create memorable experiences for attendees.
  • Engage in choreographed skits, dances, and comedic routines that match Mighty Lex's personality.
• Community Engagement:
  • Represent the Lexington Legends at community appearances, such as school visits, charity events, parades, and other promotional activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Legends brand by spreading positivity and excitement about the team.
• Fan Interaction:
  • Pose for photos and interact with fans in a family-friendly and approachable manner.
  • Maintain character integrity at all times, ensuring Mighty Lex is seen as fun, professional, and engaging.
• Game Operations:
  • Collaborate with the promotions and entertainment team to execute in-game activities and sponsor-related promotions.
  • Assist with pregame and postgame ceremonies as needed.

Qualifications:

• High-energy, outgoing, and creative personality.
• Comfortable performing in a costume for extended periods, including during warm weather.
• Physically fit to endure long periods of standing, walking, dancing, and other physical activities.
• Strong improvisational and communication skills.
• Experience in entertainment, performing arts, or mascot work is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
