Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating comprehensive care for assigned patients, ensuring the delivery of individualized and age-appropriate care. This role requires assessing patient status, interpreting clinical data, and addressing unique care requirements in alignment with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate total patient care delivering individualized care based on patient needs.
- Assess and interpret data reflective of patient status to provide age-specific evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
- Embody the Mission and Core Values of St. Bernardine Medical Center through professional conduct and high-quality care delivery.
- Actively support the hospital’s strategic plan and participate in quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Position is not currently able to support training RNs without 18 months of L&D Experience.
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within the first six months of employment into the position.
- Neonatal Resuscitation - within the first six months of employment into the position.
- Basic Arrhythmia - within the first six months of employment
- Basic Fetal Monitoring - within the first six months of employment.
