General Manager

MMI Hotel Group at Julep Farms is looking for a General Manager. Nestled in the foothills of Dillard Georgia, Julep Farms is a welcoming modern farm resort with a restaurant known as Julep Kitchen for delicious meals, 8 cozy cottages, and various indoor or outdoor space venues suitable for any event.

The ideal candidate will have strong food and beverage experience. Hotel experience is preferred, but not required.

Our vision at the Julep Kitchen is a simple, elegant, and limited, executable menu. This candidate must be kind, loyal, and able to communicate well with his/her staff. A natural at training, and incredibly organized. Must be a team player with any and all egos left at the door. Must have experience designing and preparing high-end cuisine. The ideal candidate can expect to gain valuable experience in managing a successful restaurant operation, honing their leadership skills, and contributing to the growth and success of Julep Farms. They will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment where their contributions are recognized and valued. We’re looking for a professional who is dedicated to food quality and sets high standards for their output.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all restaurant operations to ensure quality of service
• Manage guest service and complaint resolution
• Ensure compliance with labor law, food safety, and sanitation regulations
• Responsible for cost and cash management, including payroll
• Interview, hire, and train staff, conduct background checks
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional campaigns
• Monitor and analyze customer feedback to make improvements
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in restaurant management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
