At Nominal, client success is at the heart of everything we do. As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring our clients achieve measurable value from our platform. By deeply understanding their goals, challenges, and workflows, you’ll deliver tailored solutions, guide them toward success, and help them maximize the full range of Nominal’s capabilities. Your ability to transform client needs into actionable outcomes—whether through automation, advanced reporting, or strategic insights—will play a key role in strengthening their success and driving growth for Nominal.

Responsibilities And Impact

  • Championing Client Success: Serve as a trusted partner to your portfolio of clients, deeply understanding their business needs and ensuring they achieve measurable results with Nominal’s platform.
  • Maximizing Value: Help clients unlock the full potential of Nominal’s products, from multi-entity consolidation to AI-powered automation.
  • Seamless Onboarding and Engagement: Lead clients through onboarding and implementation, ensuring a smooth transition to Nominal’s platform.
  • Upselling and Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion, recommending new features or services that align with client goals. Meet and exceed upsell quotas by connecting client challenges with Nominal’s solutions.
  • Problem Solving and Collaboration: Address client challenges with agility, leveraging internal teams and resources to deliver prompt and effective solutions. Act as a bridge between clients and product development, ensuring client feedback informs ongoing enhancements.
  • Strategic Reporting and Insights: Partner with clients to optimize their financial processes, turning manual workflows into automated, streamlined solutions using Nominal’s platform.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related role within consulting, SaaS or financial technology.
  • Proven track record of achieving upsell targets and driving client growth.
  • Strong understanding of financial workflows, multi-entity consolidation, and accounting best practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to deliver value-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI-driven financial tools and their application in ERP systems.
  • Experience working with financial software like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
  • Ability to translate complex client workflows into actionable, automated solutions.
