Systems Technician

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Systems Technician in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

• Complies with company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Completes daily jobsite safety forms and participates in weekly jobsite toolbox talks
• Installation of pathways and cabling
• Analyzes blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
• Analyzes upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures, and training
• Completes overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size
• Installation and termination of peripheral devices
• Programming and testing of systems
• Testing and troubleshooting hardware equipment
• Provision of quality customer support services
• Completing maintenance and support service calls for installed systems

Qualifications

• 3 or more years recent low voltage installation experience
• BICSI Technician and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, MVR check when required, and drug-test as required
