Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement of supplies, equipment and services for the organization.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: None.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in buying or purchasing role.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Excellent interpersonal skills while understanding the needs for a positive customer service experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Associates degree in Business.
Licensure: None.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a buying or purchasing role using purchasing database systems or applications in a healthcare setting.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Proficient in purchasing applications or databases. Ability to interpret reports and spreadsheets. Ability to negotiate.
