General Summary:
This position will be working for the Investment Management team within the Marketing Organization. This is a high visibility role directly supporting the Compute teams within Marketing to help them track & manage their spend and budgetary needs. They will be the primary contact for any finance related inquiries the teams may have.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating, managing, and ensuring the accuracy of each team’s monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial updates, budget analysis, and tracking.
- Will work closely with each team to maintain a strong understanding of their budget, plan/forecast, & business need(s).
- Clearly & concisely explain to each team their YTD spend, changes in budget, etc. on a monthly, as needed, basis.
- Be the primary contact for any finance related inquiries within Marketing and from outside as you will work closely with our finance counterparts.
- Assist teams with procurement requests, and as needed, any accrual inputs, reclasses & strategic/ad hoc analysis.
- This is a high visibility role directly supporting the teams within Marketing to help them manage their complex budget needs.
This is an onsite position based in San Diego, CA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
- Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
- High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Communications, or related field.
- 4+ years of Marketing or related work experience.
- 2+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.
- 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above)
- 1+ years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$133,500.00 - $200,300.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
