Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant at our manufacturing facility located in Springfield, MO.

Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, Dexter has manufacturing and distribution locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinate activities of various departments.
• Maximize office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing software and Excel.
• Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as record keeping, payables coding, and filing systems.
• Perform daily deposits using established work practice.
• COD/Payments/Cash Account and Billing
• Order non-inventory supplies using established work practice.
• Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidates will be organized and detail oriented. For success, the Administrative Assistant must be a team player and willing to take on additional tasks. They must be courteous, professional, responsive to customer and sales staff, confidential, and able to work with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION:

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
