Excelraise, LLC is seeking an Systems Software Programmer (SQL Server, C#, Asp.Net) for our client in Columbia, SC.
Daily duties / responsibilities:
The Department seeks a highly motivated individual who has the skills and experience of designing, developing and supporting enterprise scale web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform for the integrated DSS Client Portal, Child Support Portal and State Directory of New Hires applications under the South Carolina Department of Social Services. Candidate should be an experienced developer in visual interfaces, application logic, database design and web services construction on the Microsoft Windows platform. In addition, they should be familiar with the most effective and efficient product development using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC 3 or higher, jQuery, Angular, .NET, MS SQL Server 2019/2022 Enterprise Server (including SQL Server Reporting Services) and Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server). This includes code development, database/script development, unit testing, source code management, build management, integration testing, and deployment.
Required skills:
- 7 years of experience in information technology including computing, telecommunications, printing, data storage, data transmission etc.
- 5 years of large system architecture.
- 5+ years of experience developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying web-based software systems, utilizing n-tier architectures, dynamic content, highly-scalable approaches, and complex security models/implementations
- Large scale production system implementation experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and at least two application, database, messaging or web server systems.
- Proven abilities to plan, organize, instruct, and review the work of the development team.
- Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, customers/stakeholders (state and federal) and executives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the DSS and other state information technology staff.
- Preference will be given to experience related to child support enforcement system design and development and/or knowledge of the child support enforcement program’s mission and objectives.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in child support enforcement application development preferred
- Experience with agile software development is a plus.
- Experience with responsive ui development preferred
- Experience with performance, security and regression testing tools
