Level Construction & Engineering is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations on construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is critical to the successful execution of construction projects and provides an opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily on-site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to the Superintendent and project management team.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractors and coordinating with various trades to ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee material deliveries, ensuring all items are checked, stored properly, and accounted for.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
• Ensure a clean and organized job site, minimizing hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and records of change orders.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software is preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
