The Frontend Manager, reporting to the Store Manager/ASM, is directly responsible for all aspects of the administrative and clerical store operations. The Frontend Manager works closely with the store management team and Store Support Center to ensure and maintain accurate Payroll and Human Resource reporting. Manage the Front End including POS Registers/cashiers, Service Desk/associates and layaway, Cash Office Functions, Front End cleanliness, organization, and detailed standards. Line control efficiencies ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers. All reports are reviewed daily in detail, and any issues are immediately brought to the attention of the Store Manager and Loss Prevention. The Frontend Manager is also accountable for ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, understood, and executed by all team members, improving front end efficiencies by hiring high energy team members with the right skill set and attitude, and handling all customer issues to ensure the best shopping experience. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively as it relates to speaking with customers and team members about all Forman Mills written policy and procedures, training materials, directives, and any other materials Forman Mills produces.
- Ability to perform basic math functions in order to operate the register, make change, and conduct inventory.
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs and on occasions up to 70 lbs from floor level with adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
