Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Job Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive occupancy, promote the facility’s services, and enhance the facility’s reputation in the community. This role involves working closely with the admissions team, maintaining relationships with referral sources, and ensuring that the facility meets its census and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to increase the facility's visibility, attract new residents, and maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Identify target markets and devise marketing campaigns tailored to reach those audiences, including seniors, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demographic data to refine marketing strategies.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, including digital, print, and in-person communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular outreach and networking activities to expand the facility’s referral network.
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and other relevant events to promote the facility and its services.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to develop and implement strategies that support timely admissions and meet census goals.
  • Assist with the admissions process by conducting tours, meeting with prospective residents and their families, and providing information about the facility’s services.
  • Track and report on marketing and admissions metrics, including referral sources, conversion rates, and occupancy trends.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach programs that promote the facility’s services and build relationships within the community.
  • Develop partnerships with local organizations, senior centers, and community groups to increase awareness of the facility.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenditures align with strategic goals.
  • Monitor and report on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiative.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Genuine concern for, and ability to work with the elderly and vulnerable populations.
  • Experience in marketing, ideally in healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with referral sources and community partner.
  • In-depth understanding of Assisted Living/Memory Care industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing practices, including referral development and community outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, seniors, and their families.

WHO WE ARE: Brighton Court is located in Spokane Valley, WA. With a capacity of 49 units it is made up 36 assisted living units and 13 memory care units. A one level community, you really get the sense of home. Recently we have been working on upgrading the communities lighting, repainting the entire main lobby and recently upgraded their EMAR system to Pointclick care. Lead by our Executive Director Doug Edington, the community continues to run at or above 98% occupancy. Sapphire provides on going training, tuition reimbursement, competitive wages and generous incentives to all employees.
