At AcreTrader, we empower our customers to buy and sell land smarter with advanced technology, data, and expertise. To stay committed to our mission as a company, we need to continue to grow our UX Design team. AcreTrader is hiring a UX Designer Intern who will work directly with one of our business units. As the UX Designer Intern, you'll play a key role in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for our platform. Additionally, you'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group including designers, developers, and product managers to design features that meet both user needs and business objectives.
This is a full-time paid 3-month internship. Candidates must be available to work 40 hours a week between 8am and 5pm Monday-Wednesday for three consecutive months upon starting. This internship pays $15 per hour and is not eligible for any other company-sponsored benefits.

Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of new features and improvements for your assigned business unit
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools
- Participate in the full design process from research and ideation through implementation
- Collaborate with UX designers to incorporate user feedback and research insights into your designs
- Create and maintain design documentation including style guides and component libraries
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and effectively communicate your design decisions
- Support the implementation of designs by working closely with development teams
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining design system consistency
- Actively participate in design critiques and team feedback sessions
- Learn and apply AcreTrader's design principles and patterns
- Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or related field
- Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Basic understanding of web and mobile design principles
- Ability to create clear user flows and information architecture
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, layout, and color theory
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design projects
- Previous internship or project experience in UX/UI design
- Experience with prototyping tools
- Basic understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Knowledge of agile development processes
- Interest in fintech or agriculture
