POSITION – Asset Management, Analyst

Reliant Group Management is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate to join our team as an Asset Management, Analyst. The successful candidate will work with the asset management group to support our entire portfolio of over 15,000 units across the United States including student, affordable and market rate properties.

Reliant Group Management is a San Francisco based private equity firm with a nationwide presence. We specialize in acquiring high quality assets in opportunistic situations utilizing creative financing methods including low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt housing revenue bonds. We reposition and/or restructure existing multifamily rental properties to create value for our investors and improve the livelihood of our tenants.

We currently operate more than 15,000 units of multifamily housing nationwide. The asset management services provided by Reliant Group include intensive oversight of construction and rehabilitation efforts, in-depth analysis of operations, new media marketing and creative problem solving to improve operational performance.

We are currently investing our tenth fully discretionary equity fund focused on acquiring, developing, and operating both affordable and market rate multi-family rental properties across the United States. Reliant Group has acquired over $3.0 billion of debt and equity in a variety of real estate transactions since 1992. Responsibilities

The Asset Management Analyst will be San Francisco-based and will have primary responsibility to provide support to the asset management team in the day-to-day operation of our multifamily portfolio. Specifically, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide analytical support to the asset management group by analyzing rents, market surveys and other operational data points as requested
  • Serve as a point of contact to lenders and equity partners. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial and other compliance reports as requested.
  • Collect monthly financial reports from third party property management firms. Review and analyze financial statements for consistency with company standards and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Maintain excel databases which analyze asset performance and operational/performance benchmarking.
  • Review and track projects such as large renovation and capital improvements. Submit costs for reimbursement to lenders as needed.
  • Participate in the preparation of operational budgets, operating goals, and strategic objectives
  • Assist in physical due diligence and operational underwriting of new acquisitions.
